The desire of women’s ministries at Parkview is to see every woman engaged in a discipleship lifestyle, enabled and equipped to further God’s kingdom.  All options we have for involvement are geared toward connecting us to one another in relationship, learning or service.  As we come to “love one another deeply”, we are more encouraged to pursue discipleship together.

Ways to be involved:

  • Christmas Event – If you have been cultivating a friendship with a pre-Christian, this is a non-threatening and comfortable avenue for guests, aimed to help you further their Gospel exposure.
  • Retreat – This extended time with one another in a retreat setting has always been a great encouragement to relationship, capped off by fun and biblical equipping!
  • Summer Event – The format may vary but fun and fellowship is guaranteed!
  • Softball – Gals continue to comment how much this summer team has meant in their connecting to women…and you get exercise too!  We play weekly in a church league and the season ends with a July tournament.
  • Parkview’s Meal Ministry – This team of volunteers is contacted by email for help in providing meals in the event of a new baby, illness, or another need within the church family.
  • Compassion/service projects – This is a ministry in transition. Do you have a heart for this type of ministry? Contact the Women’s Ministry Team to discuss it!
  • Bible studies – Studies are open to all, formed by sign ups and are held at the church….to encourage deeper Bible exploration.  There are generally two a year in fall and winter/spring.  Studies and prayer times by individual initiative are also encouraged.

Women’s ministries are the initiatives of a volunteer team of gals seeking to follow God’s leading.  We are always looking for suggestions and new ideas; and particularly for women with a passion for women to join the team.  Contact current team leader Emily Heilman at emilykheilman@gmail.com with any questions you might have.
