Youth Group Schedule:

On Wednesday nights @ Parkview from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm 6th – 12th grade students are invited to come know and grow in their relationship with Jesus. While there is a short message and a fun interactive game, the focal point of the night is Discipleship Groups. In these groups students and leaders develop relationships with one another as they go deep into God’s Word to personally explore their faith in Christ and spend time in prayer with and for one another. Here is our typical schedule:

6:30 pm: Students Arrive.

6:32 – 6:50 pm: Students interact through an icebreaker or game.

6:50 – 7:15 pm: Announcements and a short lesson by Pastor Terry.

7:15 – 8:00 pm: Discipleship groups.

Sunday School:

Sunday School is from 9:45 am to 10:40 am every Sunday @ Parkview. Middle and High school students meet separately, but both are going through the book Visual Theology. In this study students are exploring four pursuits of the Christian: Growing Close to Christ, Understanding the Work of Christ, Becoming Like Christ and Living for Christ. Visual Theology not only teaches the truths of God’s Word through words, but utilizes rich, colorful illustrations.

Parents!

During the school year Pastor Terry sends out weekly e-mails to parents who would like to see some of the small group questions used on Wednesday nights so you can continue the conversation at home.  You will also get periodic e-mails informing you of upcoming youth events.  If you would like to be added to this list please send a request to: terry@parkviewefc.org

Upcoming Events:

Christmas Party! Wednesday, December 13th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Students should bring a white elephant gift and a snack to share. A white elephant gift is something laying around the house that has no more use for your family that they’d like to wrap up and give away, usually humorous, or, if they need to buy something spend no more than $5. We will play some fun Christmas-themed games, exchange gifts, and eat snacks.
